Meet Dr. Raj Balkaran!


Dr. Raj Balkaran is an accomplished scholar, storyteller and wisdom teacher. He is the Founder of the online School of Indian Wisdom, and author of The Stories Behind the Poses.

Dr. Raj apprenticed with an Indian master for twelve years as part of a living oral tradition. He has been initiated into esoteric teachings and practices, especially those related to Goddess (shakti) traditions. He has has spent thousands of hours in spiritual practice, focusing on mantra.
